Lead QA Engineer

ISsoft Ukraine is looking for a Lead QA Engineer to join our team in Lviv.
Position Summary

Quality Assurance Lead Engineers at Coherent Solutions are responsible for a full QA process establish to make sure the testing is going well.  QA Lead Engineers are also responsible for developing the test plan, managing QA process and QA team to ensure that all QA activities follow to client expectations and the QA solution works in project deadlines, evaluating risk in QA process, identifying scopes of testing cycles and communicating to client and team. The QA Lead will work closely with PM and client for project expectations and deadline meet.

  • Establish and manage the QA process;
  • Manage the QA team;
  • Manage test process in the test management tool;
  • Communicate with team/client;
  • Work closely with the client;
  • Create test plans;
  • Evaluate QA risks;
  • Estimate test efforts;
  • Create templates for test documentation;
  • Perform different types of testing;
  • Teach the team to follow the established QA processes;
  • Help the PM to improve the development process;
  • Build people development plans;
Job Requirements
  • Graduate degree preferred;
  • 5+ year experience as Test Engineer;
  • 2+ year experience as QA Lead;
  • Experience in establishing QA processes;
  • Understanding the development methodologies;
  • Knowledge of Test Management tools (example Zephyr, TestRail, xRay);
  • Knowledge of Project Management tools (Jira, TFS, etc);
  • Can create test plans and define templates for test cases and check lists;
  • Skills in different type of testing: functional, regression, UI, cross-browsers, integration, database, mobile;
  • Skilled at tasks estimation and prioritizing;
  • Skilled at testing scopes definition;
  • Skilled at HTML, CSS, XML, JSON;
  • Experience in API testing;
  • Familiar with SQL database or others;
  • Skilled in people management;
  • Experienced in people development;
  • English level – Upper Intermediate +;
