Company Background

Our client is a Silicon Valley technology company focused on solving some of the most prevalent data challenges in the financial industry.

Today, enterprises experience data quality challenges because existing metadata tools are static. This passive approach to data quality makes it difficult to measure KPIs across workflows, deliver on SLAs, efficiently conduct root cause analyses, and unlock enterprise knowledge.

Client’s mission is to empower enterprises to unlock their data, increase efficiency, and discover opportunities.

Project Description

Project allows for banks and others to periodically value their trade data for various asset classes for risk & reporting purposes.

Valuation price is achieved through consensus. Dealer Banks submit data for their various asset classes and the project collects those and provides a consensus price that banks use to validate their trade prices. These valuation prices are used by risk teams & compliance reporting teams to ensure the bank is valuing data correctly and is within risk parameters set by banks and government.

The platform then sells that consensus to consumers of the data who need it for risk & reporting purposes.
